What is Piping Cord?

 

 

Sewing piping cord into seams or edgings (some call it welting) delivers perfect contrasting and a professional finish across a range of textile projects, including: dressmaking, cushions, couching, upholstery and general crafting.

 

We supply spools of bleached and natural cotton 3-ply twisted piping cords in a range of sizes from 6 ends to 12 ends. The higher the number of ends, the thicker the cord – diameters span broadly between 3mm-6mm.
