Cable Pulling & Pipe Laying
Kendon Rope and Twine supply all sizes and types of rope for use in cable pulling and pipe laying processes. We will always take the time to recommend ropes specifically designed for the purposes it is intended – our experts will ensure you are fully advised prior to purchase e.g. that the size of the rope supplied has corresponding capacity for allowable pulling tension; ideal storage conditions to ensure rope is kept clean, dry and free of nicks and knots.
We also supply a growing range of detectable and non-detectable underground warning tapes resistant to acids and alkali in soils. Our warning tapes display large, bold text for easy identification and are ideal for marking buried or sub-surface cables, as well as mains, ducts, sewers and pipelines. Warning tapes work to prevent injury and damage during excavation works. They are installed generally 4-6 inches below the surface to provide early warning of utility locations; including those for gas, electricity, water, telephone, fibre optics, street lighting and sewerage.
